The CSNet Book Discussion Group will meet on Tuesday 16 May 2023, at 6.00 pm to discuss, “The Power of Difference: Where the Complexities of Diversity and Inclusion Meet Practical Solutions,” by Simon Fanshawe OBE, who will be joining us to discuss his book.
Simon Fanshawe OBE is the Co-Founder of Diversity by Design. His book, “The Power of Difference: Where the Complexities of Diversity and Inclusion Meet Practical Solutions ”, was awarded CMI Management Book of the Year 2022. The book comes largely from Simon’s personal experiences, he talks about the power of seeing difference, valuing, and combining it in the management process to increase work effectiveness. His goal is to ensure the well-being of all workers, and to make organisations accessible, attractive, and responsible for recognizing the talents of their people. He also dwells on inclusivity, what it means, and how it works in practice. The book is all embracing in offering insight into this sensitive, but important area of managing people Simon will lead our discussion and take questions about his book.
